       Located in Wilmington, NC, we are a chapter of USA Dance, the
       internationally  recognized representative of amateur ballroom 
       dancing to the US Olympic Committee.

We serve the counties of New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender, Onslow and Columbus.

OUR MISSION

We promote and sponsor amateur dancing for social dancers, amateur competitors and the general public. We work toward the recognition
of ballroom dancing as an art form, a lifetime recreational activity
and an Olympic Sport. We strive to bring joy and the benefits of
ballroom dancing to as many people as possible.

We conduct monthly social dances preceded by an entry to intermediate level ballroom dance lesson usually on the second Saturday of every month. Both singles and couples are welcome. All
USA Dance events are smoke and alcohol free. Dress is informal but please no sneakers and jeans. Gentlemen often wear jacket and tie
but this is not a requirement. Ladies generally wear confortable
evening dancing attire.

Monthly dances are usually held at the New Hanover County
Center Ballroom, 2222 S. College Rd. at the corner of Shipyard Blvd.

Admission to our monthly dances is set at $8.00 per person for USA Dance members and $10.00 for non-members. Active Duty Military personnel with ID are $5.00 and Students with ID are $3.00. Singles
and couples are welcome. Admission price includes the dance
lesson and aproximately 2 1/2 hours of open dancing.

Doing so will automatically assign you to our chapter if your zip code is within one of the five southeastern NC counties that we serve. Annual membership is $25.00 per person. Bring a copy of your membership confirmation receipt to our next monthly dance and receive free admittance that night.
